Check out how one yarn shop sets themselves up!
Entrance - Yarn shops are typically discreet! They’re found all over but don’t have the need to have big flashy signs or large windows. Your local yarn shop may be the same so when you aren’t sure if it’s the right place, walk in!
Front - So much yarn! And other craft materials. Step in and start browsing. If you need help looking for something or have a question, feel free to ask an employee. It’s also recommended for you to actually touch the yarn and fabrics so you can get a sense of how they feel for your projects.
Tables - Many yarn shops have a table seating area. This is a space for you to layout the items you’ve chosen or even sit down to spend some time knitting. You’ll also find employees helping out customers with their projects here.
Classes Area - For larger yarn shops, you may find a back area where classes and events take place! Ask if your local store offers classes and what events are coming up.
